Welcome!

Through school visits, performances, and more recently, the zany magic of PaintBox Theatre, Tom McCabe has been living his mission to “Captivate! Educate! and Motivate!” kids of all ages, for more than 35 years.

His goal is to increase literacy, intellectual curiosity, and children’s connection to their unique voices through improvisational theatre performances, school residencies, and community workshops. He believes that skilled, active and joyful communication not only enhances childhood, but helps prepare young people for the joys and challenges of growing up.

Feel free to look around, join our mailing list, and Friend us on FaceBook. Thanks for visiting!

Welcome welcome!  We’re so glad you’re here!  We’re so glad WE’RE here!  We will be posting more or less once a week, letting you know what we’re up to, and highlighting things we think you should know about.*  Tom will also be posting writing tips for young authors, and other fun stuff.

Please go to the PaintBox FaceBook page and “like” us.  Also, please sign up for our mailing list and we will keep in touch that way.  If you are looking for info about Tom’s programs, go HERE.

And to whet your appetites for the upcoming season of PaintBox tomfoolery, here is an old PaintBox behind-the-scenes-with-Kelsey-Flynn video from the 2008 Summer season.  Enjoy!
